9-11, We Pause to Remember

"We remember"

September 11, 2001.  A date that changed the world as we know it.

We all probably remember what we were doing that morning when the first plane hit the tower.  Maybe like me, you thought that it was just a private plane gone awry.

But then we learned it was a jumbo jet, and shortly thereafter the other jet hit the second tower.

Fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, and even children lost their lives that day.  We learned how fragile life is.  In fact, many things changed that day – the procedure for traveling, the ease of access to federal buildings, our mail system, etc.

I feel that the biggest thing we learned on 9-11 is how fragile our freedom is.  If you’re a religious person, then you should pray that this is never taken away from us, whether the threat is from the outside or within.

I’m proud to be an American.  Our founders knew what they were doing when they established this country.
