Make the Right Choice – Always.

Sometimes it’s easy, and sometimes it’s not.  Sometimes the right choice is obvious, and sometimes it takes research, discovery, or perhaps study.  And let’s admit it, the possibility of always choosing the right path is probably not going to happen, but as leaders, (whether in business, or anywhere else) we should always strive to make the right choice.

One should always strive to make the right choice.

The right choice strengthens your character and illustrates your integrity.  When you choose to do the right things, it shows those you are leading that “character matters”.  Making your goals and aspirations subordinate to those of others builds trust.

The right choice demonstrates responsibility.  When you realize that you are the one that is ultimately responsible for your own success, you set an example for those that are following you.

The right choice should always be in harmony with our values. Too often in the world today, decisions are made because they just affect others, but the real challenge is to always do the right thing, even when it’s uncomfortable, or negatively affects us personally.

For real leaders, the message is clear.  Make the right choice – always!

A Social Network With a Global Mission

Recently, I was introduced to the somewhat unique networking concept of “gifting”.  Webster defines “gift” as something bestowed voluntarily, and without compensation.  An organization called Connecting Us All, also known as the  Global Giving Network is creating a difference in the world, and I’d like to invite you to take a look and see what we’re about, and perhaps, join us.  This global community of unconditional givers is helping people in close to 200 countries and has over 40 thousand members.  The concept is simple –  developing abundance in ourselves and others, so that we can capitalize on the opportunity to help people worldwide who are in need, whether that be in the form of food, shelter, clothing, prayers, or money.

Connecting Us All and our members are creating a global difference!

Through Connecting Us All, families are being fed, clothed and taken care of, in ways impossible to imagine.  Communities have been strengthened by the generous gifts of our members through one of the three main elements, called the Giving Tree.   If you choose to, making an unconditional gift of just $20, starts you on the Giving Pool path.  However, as you invite others to join in, and expand this effort to eliminate poverty and want in the world, as the Bible says, what you willingly give, will return to you many times over.  This produces a good feeling, as well as feeling good.

The third element of Connecting Us All is the free global social network, which allows you to reach out to people in your own community or across continents.

Now that you know a little bit about Connecting Us All, won’t you consider joining our humanitarian effort?
